Plain answers about your notes.
No legal fog. Here is exactly what happens to what you put in, and what the library shares.
Your notes
Files you add are read in your browser. PDFs and Word documents are turned into text on your device, and only that text is sent. A screenshot or photo is shrunk on your device and sent to Anthropic's Claude to be transcribed into text. That text then goes to Claude to write your guide. This site does not store your notes or your images. Anthropic does not use text sent through its API to train its models, and deletes it within 30 days (longer only if it is flagged for abuse).
Saved guides
The guides you make are saved in your own browser so you can reopen them. They stay on that device and nobody else can see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
The library
A guide is only added to the library if you choose "Add to the free library". When you do:
- Only the finished guide is shared, never your notes or files.
- The line naming your teacher and your file names are removed first.
- It is checked automatically for anything inappropriate before it appears.
- Anyone can then find, use, print and download it for free.
Reports and removal
Every library guide has a report button. A guide that collects several reports is hidden automatically until it is reviewed, and guides that break the rules are removed. If a guide contains something about you that should not be there, report it and it will be taken down.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to count visits. It sees which pages you open, roughly where you are (from your IP address), your browser and device type, and when you scroll or click a link. It never receives your notes, your uploaded files or your guides. The site also keeps a daily count of how many guides were made, marked and shared, with no record of who made them.
Accuracy
Guides are written by an AI from your material and checked against a rulebook, but they can still contain mistakes. Check anything that matters against your class notes or your teacher.
